Hi, Newbie here. I have the manual PDF thanks to JOHN on previos post The reason I started this is to get some input on those who have taken some apart and coud provide some insight. I have the Diesel model 6ld325 and was baught with the fuel injector & pump out. Thankful the person still had the original Lombardini part. Can somesome tell me: 1. Thickness of the shim (spacer) on the pump on their unit is? It state a washer inside the pump?
Please describe size and thickness? Maybe picture if you have them? Thank you, ED Here is my request to some users: Hi Neil or John, New to Lombardi Generator too. I have questions about the Injection pump regarding page 60 of the manual under FUEL SYSTEM. There was a note.' When removing injection pump from its seat, make sure that (spacer 3) is not dropped.
Can you tell me if (spacer 3) is a plain washer or slug(no hole)? If so, what size and thickness is it? Also, do you have the gasket (spacer) shims under your Injection pump and what thickness it that too? I am putting together my 6LD325 motor and the Injection pump was already taken out and is missing these parts. The link to the manual is here just incase you do not have a copy: Thank you in advance, ED.
Hi Farm-al, Looking at some of your post regarding Lombardini engines. Thought you could enlighten me too I have the small generator version 6LD325 and the fuel injector&pump was out and I am trying to put it togther but fuel will not pump thru the high pressure end. 46rh transmission for sale.
Low pressure works via gravity but when cranking no spirts. Confused about the pump and the internal operation. Especially the lever on the inside shaft of the injector pump.
Could you tell me if you worked on this type of fuel injector pump? I need to know if you pull on out and took everything apart? If so, there is a 'Delivery control' lever (I think this one that you adjusted with the screw from the outside block) on the shaft and does this turn easily. Mine only turns 1/4 inch and not from full side to side.
I have not taken it apart yet but looks like it may need to. See my post If you go to my post above there is a manual link there and the page in reference is 43 on the FUEL SYSTEM section. The lever has a #13 on the Injection Pump diagram (136) and it is #1 'Delivery control' Injector Pump diagram (135).
Thank you, ED.
